Australian International Music Festival

Sydney, Australia

Regarded as one of the most anticipated festivals in the south pacific area, the Australian International Music Festival attracts thousands of participants from around the world every year to some of Sydney’s most iconic buildings, such as the Sydney Opera House and Angel Place (City Recital Hall), for an unforgettable week of musical and cultural sharing.

The festival is open to all types of choirs and instrumental ensembles, and offers a great range of workshop, performance and exchange opportunities led by a panel of internationally acclaimed adjudicators and clinicians. The organisers would also select a portfolio of outstanding ensembles to perform at the world-renowned Sydney Opera House – a real dream-come-true to many young and buzzing choristers and instrumentalists.

Together with excursions to various museums and zoos (that house Kangaroos and Koalas), the festival aims to nurture and connect a new generation of young and fine performers with an inspiring and invaluable musical and cultural experience.
